Purpose of the Position

● To lead and guide our middle and high school youth programs under the guidance of and supported by the Director of Family Ministries

● To focus on investing in the spiritual growth and fellowship of the youth members with the support of volunteer leaders, parents and the Director of Family Ministries

Ideal Candidate

The Youth Ministry Intern must have a strong faith in Jesus Christ, be enthusiastic and teachable, connect well with youth, have good personal skills, and be supportive of seekers.

Description of Duties

● Leading the middle and high school programs (worship, teaching, fellowship activities) including presentations

● Lead volunteer meetings prior to youth group

● Maintain strong personal and professional relationships with staff, parents, youth, and other church leaders

● Build relationships with youth which encourage their faith and walk with Christ

● Coordinate special youth activities

● Attend and encourage youth participation in all church events
